TRAVEL AFTER SURGERY

You should avoid long-distance travel for 6 weeks after surgery. You should have discussed any upcoming travel plans with your surgeon before scheduling surgery. If travel within 6 weeks after surgery is unavoidable, you should discuss this issue with your surgeon. You may need to be prescribed additional medications or make special arranges with your airport or airline.
